Description
High silica glass fiber series is the abbreviation of high purity silicon oxide amorphous continuous fiber. The silicon oxide content of this fiber is as high as 95-98%, which is made into different products such as yarn and cloth according to the production process of ordinary glass fiber, and can be obtained through acid leaching and hot sintering process, which can obtain high silica oxygen products with high temperature resistance close to quartz fiber, with a softening point close to 1700 degrees, and can maintain good strength and elasticity for a long time at 1000 degrees Celsius. Its short-term temperature resistance can even reach 1400 degrees Celsius.
The finished products of high silica fiber mainly include cloth, felt, casing, rope, continuous yarn, etc. According to different application scenarios, different forms of finished products can be widely used in spacecraft anti-heat ablation materials, high-temperature resistant heat insulation, high-temperature gas dust collection, liquid filtration, metal melting filtration, purification, automobiles, mufflers and other fields. At the same time, because it does not contain asbestos and ceramic wool, it is harmless to health. In addition, high silica glass has good resistance to high thermal shock, most chemicals are inert, and have good corrosion resistance to compounds, corrosive minerals, and weakly alkaline molten gold at high temperatures, and can work normally and continuously under high heat and strong radiation conditions.
