TIBEKA Protections
GASHA aramid or UHMWPE
Description
==== GASHA FABRIC: HIGH-PERFORMANCE, FLEXIBLE, AND TAILORED PROTECTION ====
GASHA fabric utilizes a unique, patented multilayer (3D) weaving technology to deliver both maximum protection and exceptional flexibility. Its strength lies in its ability to absorb impacts with equal efficiency, whether laid flat or folded to conform to complex geometries.
GASHA can be woven in two versions with technical fibers :
- 100% aramid (TEIJIN TWARON)
- 100% UHMWPE (ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene)
- high flexibility;
- great formability (adapts to any shape);
- extrem resistance to impacts.
- Flat
- Molded
- Deformed/bent
- Draped
- Conforms to shapes without creasing.
- Highly flexible in all directions (horizontal and vertical).
- Zero performance loss, even when deformed.
- High resistance to impacts and punctures.
- 3D weaving optimized for composite reinforcements (prevents delamination).
- 2 versions : 100% aramid and 100% UHMWPE
- With its high density (930 g/m² - Aramid version), GASHA acts as a true barrier against impacts.
- Easy to process: It molds and drapes easily to adapt to your specific product.
- Shape retention: Once formed, it maintains its shape over time.
- Versatile: It performs equally well whether used alone (soft layers) or hardened (integrated into composite materials).
- Dry Application (Soft Armor):
- Men’s and women’s ballistic vests (body armor)
- Stab and spike protection (bladed weapons)
- Composite Reinforcement Application:
- Protective helmets
- Radomes
- Partitions and walls
- Vehicle armor/shielding
